First-Year (Freshman): This student type should only be selected if you are either a senior in high school or you graduated from high school within the last five years.

Dual Enrollment: This student type should only be selected if you are planning to take college courses that satisfy high school and college credits, and the tuition is funded by the Georgia Student Finance Commission.

Non-Traditional First-Year Student (Non-traditional freshman): This student type should only be selected if have graduated from high school at least five years ago and have not yet attended college.

Transfer: This student type should only be selected if you are currently attending or have attended a college or university and earned 30 or more semester or 45 quarter hours of college credit.

If your cumulative GPA is less than X.XX, you will need to apply as an Associate Pathway Programs student.

Transition: This student type should only be selected if you are either transitioning to the Atlanta Campus from Perimeter College or from the Atlanta Campus to Perimeter College as a degree seeking student.

Re-entry: This student type should only be selected if you enrolled at Georgia State as a degree-seeking student and have been inactive for the last three semesters.

Postbaccalaureate: This student type should only be selected if you have earned a bachelor's degree and are planning to enroll as a non-degree-seeking student.
